My daughter Alexis, is the APPLE OF MY EYE. Can you believe I would say that about a 16 year old hormonal individual? She is the BEST! Traveling always reminds me of her because she is my favorite travelling companion. She would tell you that I take a large carry-on just to handle my neccesties (including a swimsuit) just in case we get stuck somewhere without our luggage. You never think of those things until it happens to you, JUST ONCE.
By now you would know that cosmetics are a large part of that bag. Since 9-11, I have had the equivilant of a large trashcan confiscated by airport security. It would be “FUN” just to visit it all again. My cosmetics are similar to my right arm. Not easy to live without or near me. All of the cosmetics in my bag are well thought out and I don’t share them especially with AIRPORT SECURITY. When we were told that no lotions, potions, creams, lipgloss or cosmetics would be allowed on planes, I was devasted. WHAT IF I GOT STUCK WITHOUT LUGGAGE! My trip could be ruined. I could not imagine meeting with a client without Lipcolor. Not in My World. The federal government and airport security have backed off from the original ban. I am sharing the following wi with you because it is great news for me.
The government is partially lifting its ban against carrying liquids and gels onto airliners, as long as they are purchased from secure airport stores, and will also permit small, travel-size toiletries brought from home.
New procedures also were announced for toiletries and products like lip gloss and hand lotion that passengers bring to the airport. Previously, those liquids have been confiscated at security checkpoints. Now, these products will be limited to 3-ounce sizes and must fit in a clear, 1-quart size plastic bag. The bags will be screened and returned if they are cleared.
What does this mean to you?? LipSense and any other cosmetics/skin care are now allowed back on airplanes in 1-quart size plastic bags.
