It has been brought to my attention by numerous customers recently that it is very confusing to discern which
Shadow Sense eye shadow to purchase.
The easiest explanation is that Original SeneGence ShadowSense .25oz was introduced at least seven years ago and includes the old favorites such as Candlelight, Moca Java ShadowSense, Ebony Essence, Denim, Mystic Moss and Mulberry. Those particular six Eye Shadow shades are matte and more dense in consistency although blend out with just a small amount of product to a flawless soft finish that will not crease. I have also always considered the preceding shade to be extremely versatile cosmetics because they also can serve multiple functions…
BIG BANG FOR THE BUCK!
Try lining your eyes with Moca Java, Ebony Essence, Denim or even Mystic Moss. Oh my dear Candlelight! Use is as a concealer, or try it out as a blender to modify other Shadow shades or even your favorite MakeSense Foundation for glamorous highlighting effects. Moca Java is a favorite of many of my customers to fill in sparse eyebrows. I LOVE the core colors of ShadowSense! Through the years some newer shades have come and gone however you will still find Aqua, Seafoam, Caribbean, Light Sapphire, Amethyst, Silver Violet, Pink Frost, Pink Mauve, Peridot, Khaki, Copper and Copper Rose Shadowsense within the ORIGINAL FORMULATION and size of tube.
Then walks in the new kid on the block appropriately named Creme to Powder ShadowSense in a smaller .20oz tube. This new category of shadowsense has become very popular due to its extreme staying power and blending capability while achieving a glimmery, pearlized finish fit for a queen. Do not get this ShadowSense confused with the old fashion frosted shadows…because creme to powder offers a beautiful, sophisticated finish that is appropriate for a woman of any age.
When you go to Order ShadowSense, the problem is that all of the Orginal ShadowSense as well as the Creme to Powder are on the ordering page together. To add further complication you will find many with the same names including the adorned Candlelight and Moca Java…YIKES! It has created confusion for many expecting to receive the original formula of SeneGence Candlelight ShadowSense and unfortunately making the mistake of ordering creme to powder.
Hope this clears of the confusing and if not…just call me.
Dear Carol,
When lining the eye with a shadowsense, does the creme to shadow or shadowsense work the best? I would like a soft brown or green.
Thanks!
